Obituary of Fana Tabacoff

TABACOFF, Fana Born on February 15, 1922, in Macedonia; passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 in Toronto, at the age of 91, with her three children by her side. Beloved spouse of the late Basil Tabacoff (1979); loving mother of Jack, Don and Joanie. Grandmother to Todd, Adam, Mila, Vasil and the late Krista Tabacoff-Stryland (2007). Also survived by her sister Betty Daniels, great-grandsons, nieces and nephews. Fana was a woman who gave and left us the eternal gifts of wisdom, compassion, humour and unconditional love. She left us all with a final lesson of bravery and courage for all the difficulties she had to endure these past several months. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES CHAPEL LIMITED, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 18. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, July 19 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
