Susan, Betty and Jan, I didn't read the Star utill Tuesday, being busy on the weekend. My eye was drawn to the picture of Pooh and something jogged my memory and made me read the rest of his Obituary. Please accept my condolences on his passing. Only remember him a little from university but upon reading realize he was quite a guy and it seems he died too early. Thinking of you all. Mary Lou

I articled under Bob while a student at Ricketts Harris. He was more than my boss, he was a mentor who provided me with guidance and taught me a lot about the world of law, business, and life. Pooh and Sue brought my twins, Katie and Robbie home from the hospital. Pooh accepted the honour of godfather to Katie Neeb-Craig. I was a 'first' parent in Toronto to choose the blood cord program to help the child and others. We encourage new parents to save stem cells so the cells can be utilized to save the lives of the child, the parent, or other compatible loved ones. I hadn't seen Pooh in years but saw him a couple of years ago playing squash at the B&R. As always, he was friendly, sunny and inquiring of me and my family. We were friends in DU at Western. A good, intelligent man who died too young.

thank you giving Charlie, Sumo, Billy a good home...I suspect you secretively did more than just tolerate them:) I remember your funny expression whenever the topic of a rescue would come up and, in the end, you would just give up.
