Obituary of Enid Moxam
MOXHAM, Enid (nee Baker)
Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Bayview on Wednesday, May 8, 2013. Enid was born in Oldbury West Bromwich, England on July 10, 1922. Only daughter of Theodore and Lily (nee Etheredge) Baker. She is predeceased by her husband Charles Archibald Moxham (d 1993). Survived by her sister-in-law Charline (Barry Holmes) Gardhouse (Moxham) and brother-in-law Jack Moxham, as well as her many nieces, grandnieces, great-grandnieces, nephews, grandnephews, and great-grandnephews. After emigrating to Canada in 1951, Enid began her long, rewarding career at Canada Wire and Cable in Leaside, retiring in 1985. She and her husband Arch enjoyed numerous trips over the years back to the UK to visit family and friends. Together they were very active members of the congregations of both St. Cuthbert's and St. Augustine's of Canterbury Anglican Churches. The family would like to thank all of Enid's caregivers at Extendicare Bayview for their excellent care during the past eight years, and in particular, a heartfelt thank you to a very special person and friend to Enid in her latter years, Joanne Michitsch. There will be a Celebration of Life service for Enid in ST CUTHBERT'S ANGLICAN CHURCH, 1399 Bayview Avenue, Toronto on Saturday, June 8th at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
