Obituary of Catherine Pellettier

PELLETTIER, Catherine Patricia (nee Moran) Born October, 22, 1931; passed away in Toronto on Saturday, June 1, 2013, in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of Vincent Edward Pellettier. Dearly loved mother of Paul (Jenny), Peter (Connie), Michael (Josephine), Mark (Garth), David (Mary-Jane), Michelle, Jeffrey (Shawnda) and Robert. Loving grandmother of Kira, Matthew, Katherine, Ariel, Ciara, Christina and Alex. Predeceased by parents Patrick and Kathryn (Campbell) Moran, brother Patrick Joseph Moran while serving with the Irish Regiment of Canada in the Netherlands in WWII, an infant child, loving guardians the Honourable Charles Henry and Geraldine Henry, and sister Rosemary Quance. Sadly missed by John Henry and Mary-Christine Benson. Orphaned at the age of two and moved between foster homes, our Mom devoted her adult life to nurturing and supporting her own large family with love and being the central force in creating a wonderful and caring family life. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES CHAPEL LIMITED, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5th. A Mass of Roman Catholic Burial will be celebrated in BLESSED SACRAMENT CHURCH, 24 Cheritan Avenue (on Yonge Street south of Lawrence Avenue) on Thursday, June 6th at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Mount Hope Cemetery, with a reception to follow in the basement of Blessed Sacrament Church.
