Dora Priscilla Conley
July 8, 1918 - March 10, 2013
Dora passed away peacefully in her 95th year in Toronto. Daughter of the late Eliza Blakeley and Aylmer Guernsey. Beloved wife of the late Frederick Ross Conley. Second youngest of 12 brothers and sisters from Prince Edward County. Mother of Susan (Robert Patton), John and Steven, all of Toronto. Dearly loved grandmother of David and Jane, and honorary 'Nanny Dora' of Elijah and Jasmine. She is fondly remembered by her family and all their friends for her always-open and welcoming home. She will be forever known by all as the best-ever baker of bran muffins and butter tarts. Mom greatly enjoyed her time working at Bell Canada on Wynford Drive, where she made many friends. The family is deeply grateful to all the staff at Wellesley Central Place, as well as to her caregivers Jimilyn and Mary Ann for their help and kindness during her last five years. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES CHAPEL LIMITED, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 14. Service will be held in the chapel on Friday, March 15 at 1:00 p.m., with a reception to follow. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
