Obituary of George Vermes

VERMES, Dr. George At North York General Hospital, Toronto on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at age 85, of a lengthy illness. George will be deeply missed by his wife Sophie, daughter Agnes, son Peter, son-in-law David Basskin, daughter-in-law Tammy Tondevold, and granddaughters Elizabeth and Lauren. Dr. Vermes will be fondly remembered by the hundreds of patients he served for decades as a physician in Toronto. Friends are invited to a memorial gathering at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W.
