Obituary of Ann McLeod

McLeod, Ann Annie AnastasiaOn January 17th, 2008 at the Centenary Site of Rouge Valley Health System in Scarborough, at the age of 87 years. Missed so very much by her husband Dr. Hugh McLeod, and her daughter Jeannette (David) and granddaughter Cassandra. Annie was born in Ireland. She resided there until she moved to Manchester, England where she trained and became a Midwife and Obstetric Nurse. She immigrated to Toronto, Canada in 1952. She worked at the Toronto General Hospital as a Head Nurse until 1959. On April 17, 1959 she married and became a fulltime mother. Mother was a patient on 5 West at the Peter Munk Cardiac Center for a lengthy period, and we thank them for their care and compassion. To Centenary, we thank them for their care during the past difficult years. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST.
