Obituary of Audrey Blackman

BLACKMAN, Audrey May (Dorman)In her 90th year after a courageous battle with cancer, it is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother on January 11, 2008 at Sunrise Senior Living Retirement Home in Aurora, Ontario.Predeceased by her husband Maurice (1995) and daughter Sandra May (1985). Loving mother of son Bill (Karen) and daughter Maureen (John). Cherished grandmother of Richard, Jamie (Chantelle), Jennifer, Shannon and her new little great granddaughter Teagan May. Audrey will always be remembered for her devotion to her family and many friends. A heartfelt thanks to the staff at Sunrise of Aurora for the excellent care and compassion shown to Mom over the last two and a half years. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 3-7 pm on Monday, January 14th. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 11 o'clock on Tuesday, January 15th. If desired, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, or to the United Church of Canada.
