My Dearest Aunt Edith is now reunited with my Uncle Ian and my cousin Cathy and my Grandad, John Thomas McSweeney. I will always have very fond memories of Aunt Edith and Uncle Ian and when they came to Bermuda and took me and my sister to the beach and was there on my Wedding Day.

Mom you taught me the importance of family and good friends. You set a wonderful example for me to follow. You always made sure that our family stayed connected and you always had wonderful girlfriends in your life who had your back. You were well respected and loved by all. You always made everyone feel comfortable and accepted in your home. Your were a true lady. You had a mischievous side as well and a great sense of humour. You were always there for me and I am glad I could be there for you these past few difficult years as you endured deep loss and declining health. You were blessed with 4 four wonderful sisters and one amazing brother. The Frise Girls were/are one of a kind. The bond you all had and the love that you shared is truly legendary in our family. They were/are the best Aunts ever. Bettina now carries the torch for you all. I had one truly amazing sister. Thank you for raising her to be such a wonderful person who became my best friend in life. We all miss her so much and trust you are united now, eating fabulously decadent desserts together!
Thank you for drying my tears and kissing my wounds and for always being there for me. Thank you for being a wonderful loving mother, grandmother and mother in law. Rest in peace my dear sweet mother. I love you forever. Xoxoxo
p.s. Russell is not always right and I agree those party crashers are an annoying bunch. Yes the holes in my jeans are intentional and yes I actually paid good money for them to be that way! Once again yogurt is not a by product of yoga. Opprie Winfrie is still on the air and doing well and I still shop at the Price is Right Club (is there one near Sharway?) Thanks for making us all laugh right up to the end.

I have many wonderful memories with you Nanny, from spending weekends at the apartment, visits to the laundry rooms and gym, swimming in the pool or visits to McDonald's for an ice cream cone. Every time we spent time with you and papa was special. I remember trying on your shoes... My love for high heels started young. Watching movies and eating junk food that our parents wouldn't allow us to have. You introduced us to Ginger Ale and we felt so cool drinking it out of old fashion glasses :). You always were smiling, caring and super funny, so many times making us smile and laugh by not even meaning to. We are thankful to have shared memories with you in Barbados as well as at the cottage. I could go on and on however my eyes are becoming blurry from the tears. So I will end this by saying thank you for always listening, teaching and being there when we needed a hug. You will be truly missed. Kiss my mom for me I am sure she has been hugging you since you got to heaven. Till we meet again love you. Your first granddaughter Caylin xo
