Obituary of Ruth Forshaw

FORSHAW, Ruth Patricia (nee Slade) Ruth died on Friday, December 28, 2012 after a prolonged illness. Ruth was born in Sydney, Cape Breton during the reign of King George V. She is survived by her beloved husband Geoffrey and two sisters Helen and Jessie and her brother George, all from Sydney. She was predeceased by her sister Alice and her brother James. Ruth worked for the United States Air Force at Harmon Field, Stephenville, Newfoundland. She came to Toronto in 1957 and joined Trans-Canada Airlines/Air Canada. Ruth was a loyal Christian and an avid monarchist. Memorial Service to be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at CATHEDRAL OF ST. JAMES, 65 Church Street at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow.
