It is sad to see the senior member of this generation of our family leave us. I hope that our shared memories of Karen's humour and grace resonate through all members of our clan and that our sadness is proof of our love and regard for her in life. Our hearts are with all of you. Bob and Susan Forrest

It feels like months but it has only been a few days since your passing, Karen (our Mom, our Sister, our Grandmother and our Great-Grandmother). We will miss your love and compassion for your family, your wicked and dry sense of humour, your passion for reading and sharing the latest novels and above all, your love and your friendship. We wish you were here enjoying life and sharing laughter and tears with us. However, sadly it is not meant to be; leaving us to now share life’s moments with you in spirit only…we miss you, dearly!
We will love you forever and always,
Jamie & Carl, Ken & Patti, Blake & Sharron, Rob & Yvonne, Gary & Darcel, Mitchell, Caitlyn, Vayda & Dalice and Zachary & Stephanie

Karen was one of the best people I've ever met. We worked at CN Railways together and we'd play cards everyday at lunchtime. Karen loved her family. She was very proud of her children Jamie and Kenny. I wish I could of seen/talked to her just one more time. I miss you so much Karen and I was lucky enough to have known her. I can't wait to see you again one day. Love you Karen.
