Obituary of Berniece Little

Peacefully on Monday, December 31, 2007 at Hazelton Place Retirement Residence in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Marcus Harvey Little, and mother of Marcus (Alanna, predeceased), Natalie (Paul Raymond), and David (Lori McDonald). Loving grandmother of Marcus and Nicholas Raymond. She also leaves her dear sister-in-law Jean Avery, nieces Margaret, Lorna, Susan, nephew Edward, her great friend and cousin Dawn MacDonald, and many family and friends in Canada, the US, and Australia. Special thanks, to the staff at St. Michael's Hospital and to everyone at Hazelton Place.Berniece was a proud nursing graduate of St. Michael's Hospital. She loved her winters in Arizona, and her garden at Emohruo, her cottage in Peterborough. Fiercely independent, she had only recently moved into Hazelton Place, where she had a wonderful last few months playing bridge, following the stock market and making new friends.The family of Berniece will receive friends at Hazelton Place, 111 Avenue Road on Friday, January 4th, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
