Obituary of Trevor Tessier

TESSIER, Trevor Rogerson January 6, 1919 - November 30, 2012 Trevor passed away peacefully, surrounded by his children. Predeceased by his beloved wife Dorothy (1977), sons-in-law Frank Shiraishi and Jim Campbell, and grand-dog Kenji. He is survived by his devoted children Janice Shiraishi, Ian (Sandy), and Joyce Campbell Bernier (Ernest), and his brother Medland. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Stephanie and Jason, nieces and nephew, sisters-in-law, and many close friends. A decorated WWII Veteran, he served proudly with the Black Watch, and as Canloan Officer # 103, with the Gordon Highlanders of the British army. He was stationed in England, landed in Normandy on D-Day, and led the protective escort for Queen Wilhelmina of Holland. He retired from Kresge/KMart Canada after a 45 year career. He was a high school track star, an avid lifelong golfer and big hockey fan. According to Trevor's wishes, a private funeral has been held.
