We're glad to have the chance to give thanks for Paul's friendship. We first met him nearly 35 years ago when Rose worked with Maureen and Carol at CTV. For many Christmases we all went to the Copenhagen Room restaurant for the holiday sing-along dinners, and Paul would lead us in out-singing all the other tables whenever they played his favourite carol, the Twelve Days of Christmas. As time went by we got to know Paul as a sincere friend with a delightful sense of humour. When our children joined our family we saw Paul become a wonderful Uncle to our daughters. His love of children shone out every time he saw them, and in return they loved to put on piano recitals for him whenever he visited our home. We were glad we could join Paul to celebrate his 95th birthday earlier this year in Aruba and he really enjoyed having our girls there for the fireworks, the glorious sunsets and meals together. We all will dearly miss him, but we'll fondly think of Paul and all the good times we shared whenever we hear the Twelve Days of Christmas or see a beautiful sunset.
