I'm sorry for your loss.
Even in Japan, I have always thought of Joan. She was like a mother to me. I will never forget the days in Toronto which I spent with her. I really wanted to meet her at least one more time, and I am devastated that I am no longer able to. I would have loved to introduce my children to her.
