Obituary of Emeline Marrocco

Peacefully, following a brief illness, Emeline died at her home on Thursday, December 13th, with her family by her side. Predeceased in December 1995 by her husband Alfred, Emeline was a devoted mother to son Frank and daughter in law, Mimi, and beloved grandmother of Emily (Michael Condoyannis), Angela (Marc Barsanti) and Ted (Margaret Thompson). She doted on great grandchildren Matthew and Lucas Condoyannis and Nicole Barsanti. Born in Sudbury, the fourth of nine children, Emeline was predeceased by her sister Jean and brothers Sam, John, Michael, Elias and Sodie. She leaves her dear younger sister and very close friend, Marion Mihalek (Lou) in Toronto and brother Albert Mensour (Julie) in Montreal. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Rose Daley and to the caring staff at her retirement home at 921 Millwood. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 7-9 p.m. on Monday, December 17th. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at SAINT ANSELMS CHURCH 1 MacNaughton Road at Millwood Avenue at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 18th. Interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery.
