I was very sad to hear of Bev's passing. He was always a great engineer, a thoughtful and warm friend during all the time I spent with him in System Planning at Ontario Hydro and afterwards. He was one of those gentlement who truly make the world a better place to live for us all. God's got a good one.

We are sorry to hear of the passing of Bev. I was his Hydro colleague for many years and have also met him in our System Planning reunions. I will remember him as a knowledgeable engineer who was always willing to share that with me. May he rest in peace. Viv

I was very sorry to hear about Bev. He was an experienced, friendly and highly appreciated mentor to all young planners in the System Planning Division. Later, Bev became a good friend who kept the connection after his retirement. Bev will be missed by his many friends in our 'System Planning Alumni' group.

I,too, was saddened to hear of Bev's passing. I knew him from my System Planning days, but most memorably as an amiable companion on a short camping trip he and I and the late Warren Barclay took to Ralph Bice Lake (then Butt Lake) in Algonquin Park in the 1960s. My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family.

I enjoyed working with Bev for many years in System Planning at Ontario Hydro. He was one of the finest gentlemen I ever knew. If I was ever asked to pick a citizen to represent Canada, I would have picked Bev. My sincere condolences to the Pearson family. Sharon Reid Canfa

I was saddened to learn of Bev's passing. He reached a wonderful age - typical for those in the Mackey clan. We always looked forward to seeing both Bev and Beth at the annual Mackey picnic/reunion. They remembered their roots well. My sympathy to you in your loss of a loving father and grandfather. George
