Dear Bill & Family: I didn't have the opportunity to meet you. My deepest sympathy for your great loss. I just wanted to tell you that your Mom was a great inspiration to my daughter, (especially when neither one realized it). My daughter came back to live with me after some troubling times. She had spent some days and evenings with your mother, keeping her company after a heart attack. Your mom told stories and my daughter listened. My daughter was in awe of your mother. She thought that she was just wonderful, Lisa was absolutely fascinated with your mothers stories. Lisa loved the idea that your mom was a walking, talking historian, she was hearing stories first hand. And let me tell you that not many young folks get to take advantage of something like that and your mom didn't mind either. Let me tell you that from my perspective it was great, my daughter had some one else to focus on and listen to, ask questions off and in the end just enjoyed her company. And let's face it, your mom also liked to pass her stories along to others as well. We both had a great deal of respect for her. Columbia M. Corindia
