Our family would like to extend our condolences to all of your family on the death of your mother. Your father was my doctor at Montreal Children's Hospital for many, many years of my early childhood. He was a gentle and kind person who in an era where children were meant to be silent through their illnesses, made me feel supported and respected. I remember him speaking of his family, including your late sister. Your mother must have been a remarkable woman to have both kept the fort at home and inspired so much love from her husband. Losing a parent is difficult at any age, but may you be comforted by the knowledge that you were blessed to have had her so long and that she did seem to have a wonderful life!

Hello Richard Hall, Ann and Lyle, I have many fond memories of you Mom and the entire family. We shared many good moments at Lake Champlain many, many years ago. Your mother was a wonderful part my parents social circle and they certainly had great times together. I am sure Gladys was regal and bright to the end. Regards, Robin

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family, Ann. Your Mother was a remarkable woman who lived life to the fullest and longest that she possibly could. I will always remember our bridge games and chats, and the interest she took in my family. She was the first person in Toronto to see my Grandson's picture! It is always hard to lose your Mother, no matter how old you are, We will reminisce and toast her many times in the days/weeks/months to come- beginning with Betty in Bermuda.
