So sorry and shocked to read of Angie's passing. We were friendly in our late teens and early twenties. I attended her wedding then we lost touch. We became re-acquainted after my husband and I met brother David and wife on a wine tour at Niagara-on-the-Lake. He told us that she was managing Legacy House in Stratford. We visited her there when we went to a play (The Tempest as William Hutt's farewell season) and we all had dinner together at The Church Restaurant. To Mom Betty - it is always difficult for a parent to outlive a child. This happened to my Mother when she lost my Brother at age 2 1/2 in Slovakia. Had he lived, he would be in his 80s now. The most poignant moment at my Father-in-law's funeral was when his own 90+ year old Mother came to visitation. You know the family - I am married to Stephen Potocny. My Father-in-law Steve said that he dated you when you were young. Grandmother Potocny said she cooked at your wedding. I was sorry to miss the funeral as we were away this weekend. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Angie and I shared many stories, laughs and a some tears over the last 34 years. From her love of laundry, the '20 mule team dance with her fingers' to adding 'alator' to everyone's name...past to present, her light shone brightly in my life as a true friend. I feel her spirit closely and know it will live on in those who loved her. xoxoCindy

I have known Angie for over 25 years and she was a special person in my life many years ago. Three years ago my father passed away during a cold January. Not seeing Angie for quite some time, who do I see in the crowd at the funeral home? Angela Roman. That ever present smile on her face showing compassion, sympathy and genuine caring. I clearly remember that I had someone special with me at that difficult moment. I managed to visit Angie this summer and spend a few quality hours with her recanting memories, stories and dropping names from way back. As I left Angie that summer day, I watched the same smile while driving away. Angie did no harm to anyone and in turn, her reward is eternal peace and lasting memories for those of us still fortunate to wake up rach day and love a friend or family member.

We wish to express our profound sadness that Angie has left us so soon. As neighbours over the past two years from across Church Street in Stratford, we had many occasions to visit or just to say hello from the sidewalk. We are consoled in knowing that Angie's spirit will live on forever in out hearts. We know now that she is at rest and without any more pain or worries. Angie epitomized for us the attributes of a kind, thoughtful, beautiful and very brave person - a noble Lady! Sincerely Al & Donna Tucker POBox 139 104 Church St S. St Marys ON N4X 1A9 519-284-3560

Angie was our charming and vivacious neighbor at 314 Glen Road for many years, always a wonderfully positive and happy person. We lived next door. Tommy and Daniel were youngsters in those times. Recently, the tall and stately tree in her old backyard was trimmed again – restoring it to the beauty which Angie had achieved which she first had it trimmed, years ago. It is a graceful, towering giant, gentle and full of life. We have always thought of this as “Angie’s tree.” Please give our condolences to Tommy and Daniel, and invite them to drop by when they have a chance. Mark, Ruth, Josh.

I use to get such a kick out of my daughter, Laura, telling me that Angie would call her and tell her that my grandson, Andrew, had called her from Houston just to say hi. He was only four or five years old and he knew Angie's number by heart. When Angie came to Austin for Daniel's graduation, we had so much fun. She invited me to go out with her and her friend but I was unable to go. I liked her from the moment I met her and will always love her sons as my own grandsons.
