Dear Judy and family, We are terribly sorry for your loss. We lived in the apartment above Betsy from 2006 until earlier this year. She was such a wonderful neighbour and friend to us and we'll miss her dearly. We will keep the memory of the great times we shared with Betsy with us always. Dear Judy. My heart goes out to you on the death of your dear sister. We will all miss her wickedly good humour and impishness. And remember, when your loved ones become memories, then memories become treasures. Betsy was a treasure. A big hug to you.

Dear Judy and family, So sorry to hear the news of Betsy's death. We were nursing classmates and flatmates on St. George in 60/61. She was always lots of fun and had such a dry sense of humour yet also a dedicated and talented obs. nurse. She will be missed. Fond regards, Carol Cook

My sincere condolences to Betsy's family. When I was on staff at Toronto General Hospital Labour and Maternity floor as a young man Betsy's helpful encouragement and sense of humour was a constant source of support. Generations of doctors, midwives and nursing trainees have good cause to be thankful they experienced their time with Betsy at the helm.

To Judy and family, I'm so sorry for your loss. Betsy was a great gal. I used to work with her at TGH in the early 70's. That was the best working experience I ever had. Betsy was my mentor and friend. We had a lot of fun, a lot of action, and I will remember her forever. Peace be with you.

Dear Judy: I'm so very sorry and shocked that Betsy is gone. I know how close you two were and how much you will miss her. Please accept my deepest condolences. She was such a fun loving character with her wry humour and wit. The Aquafit gang will sorely feel the loss of such a wonderful friend.

Dear Judy, Please accept my deepest sympathy at the death of Betsy. I think that you were as close as any two sisters could be. You were fortunate to have each other. I know that I will miss her friendliness and her humour and I think that I have lost my favourite aquafit companion. No one will be able to take her spot. I only wish that I could have known her better and for a longer time. My thoughts are with you at this very difficult time. As we say in Newfoundland during times of sadness, "I'm sorry for your troubles". Ella
