Bill and Pashby family, We were so very sorry to hear of Liz's passing and want you all to know we are thinking of you at such a sad, sad time in all of your lives. Liz was a wonderful person in an amazing family. Having such a close family at this time is I am sure a great comfort. The last time we saw Liz was at Edna Roberts memorial service. Liz I believe had just recently diagnosed with cancer. She talked about it so openly and honestly. I admired her so much for being so candid. But she didn't dwell on herself and wanted to know all about our family; what everyone was doing and where they were. That was Liz, interested and a great listener. You will miss her so much. Please accept our deepest sympathy. Gary and Judy Bannister

Dear Bill I regret I was not able to attend the visitation for Liz - I am currently in a prescribed rest at home situation due to some recent medical problems. As you know I first met Liz at the Allan's Christmas party. We seemed to hit if off right away and I soon came to really look forward to our musical sojourns together. In fact there was talk one time of taking the act on the cruise ship circuit. I have been playing my guitar off and on for close to sixty years. In that time I have met and played with many musicians. However, I can count on the fingers of one hand those who were really good, who were helpful and collaborative, who made you a better musician, and those who really loved the music above all else. Liz was such a musician. She was also totally fearless, one year taking on with aplomb a brand new kids Christmas song and another year the old rock song by The Animals' "The House of the Rising Sun". Needless to say she had them both mastered in about three iterations. I have been working on a small Liz memorial piece (art not music) and look forward to meeting with you when it is done and when I am able, so I can express my condolences to you in person. In the meantime, please extetend my heartfelt condolences to your family.

Dear Bill, Karen, Kathy, and Christie, I am so sorry to hear about Liz passing. What a wonderful woman she was. I will always remember the birthday parties for Karen and how much thought and preparation went into each activity planned for us all to enjoy. And the fireworks display each year, with the burning school house grand finale! It brought the whole neighbourhood together and was always a fun event for us kids to look forward to. Liz will be missed so much, but has passed on so much love and fond memories to everyone who knew her. Please know that my thoughts are with you all. Much love and best wishes, Sarah Foster

To Bill, Kathy, Christie, and Karen, My name is Mary Ann Glebe and I went to school with Liz. She was one year behind me but I remember her well from high school. I am saddened to know that she has died. I remember her as a bright, smiling, friendly person. But more than that, there was a liveliness of spirit which shone for all those who knew her. I read in the obituary that her life was indeed one of exemplary attitude and style. You must all be very proud to have known her as wife and mother. I can only hope that your loving memories, rich with detail, will help sustain you in these trying days and that your family unity will keep you strong. My best regards to each of you. Mary Ann Glebe

My deepest condolences to Kathy and all of the family. I did not have the pleasure of knowing Liz but I am honoured to know her lovely daughter Kathy and can only begin to imagine what a tough time this has been for everyone. It's hard to understand why some people are given more time here on earth than others, but it does seem to be that some of the best are taken away much sooner than would seem fair. I am happy that you all have each other in the family, and friends almost as close to help you through this. With my deepest sympathy, Jennifer.
