Obituary of Joan Beer

BEER, Joan Elizabeth (nee Garwood) (1928-2011) It is with genuinely heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother and grandmother, Joan Beer, at the age of 82. Mercifully at peace, Joan passed away Friday, August 26, 2011, fiercely brave and independent to the end. Cherished by son Michael and his wife Susan, son David and grandson Michael, and daughter Suzanne Walker and her husband Tim. Truly wonderful and doting grandmother to Zack, Erin and Miranda. Please join us to remember Joan's wonderful life, and share with us, memories of her spirit, generosity and kindness. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 31.
