Obituary of Cupertino Saldanha

SALDANHA, Cupertino Osorio Passed away peacefully at Brierwood Gardens, Brantford on Saturday, August 6, 2011, Cupertino Saldanha in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Ofelia. Loving father of Roy and Grace. Beloved son of the late Dr. Antonio Osorio Saldanha and Julia Martins. Dear brother of the late Mario, and Olav, the late Thelma and Tessi. Brother-in-law of Zita Osorio Saldanha. Will be missed by all relatives nieces, nephews and friends. Will be sadly missed by the members of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, especially Irene. The family would like to personally thank all involved in his care, Metro Toronto Police Services, Toronto Ambulance and Paramedic Services, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Toronto East General Hospital and Brierwood Gardens and long-time family physician Dr. Matthews. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 11 and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, August 12. Mass will be celecrated at OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP CHURCH, 78 Clifton Road on Saturday, August 13 at 9:30 a.m. Cremation. If desired, donations in memory of Cupertino may be made to the Brierwood Long Term Care Resident's Council, 425 Park Road North, Brantford M3R 7G5.
