Although long since retired from Vanbots and the construction industry, and moved away to the Atlantic Provinces,I never forget the really decent people I have met in my life. Jimmy was one of those. He is remembered kindly. Sincerely, Maggie Webber

Dear Cecilia, Margaret and family, My sincerest sympathies for your loss. Jimmy was incredibly well loved and admired by so many people. He was a great inspiration and amazing mentor to Rick and others at Clifford. It was an honour for me to have known him and hear the many stories of day-to-day events at Clifford over the years. Jimmy had such a great impact on Rick. He will be greatly missed.

Mr. Riach was a great man. He gave me my first opportunity in business which helped me build a career for myself. With the help of Rick Van Ihinger, Mr. Riach allowed me to photograph all the most prestigious building they worked on. From the beginning he was able to see details most would miss and guided me through improvements that made it feel as if it was my idea. He was tough but fair, and I never forgot how he gave me a break. I've told his story often over the last twenty years and he has inspired me to do the same for others whenever I could. We will miss you Jimmy! Kevin Hewitt Kevin Hewitt Photography Inc.

To the Riach Family I offer my sincere condolences on the loss of this wonderful man. My association with Jim was as a supplier of concrete masonry materials to his projects for many years through Primeau Argo Block. He was always very friendly, polite, helpful and a great person to do business with. I shall always remember him. Bob Primeau
