As lawyer for Forty Glen Rd. Apartments Limited, I had extensive dealings with Jean on a variety of matters over the past few years. In addition to being exceedingly bright and insightful, she was invariably warm, friendly, reasonable and dependable. It was a great pleasure to have had the opportunity of working with her. I know that her passing is a big loss, not only to her husband , family and friends, but to all who had ongoing dealings with her. I offer my deepest sympathy.

As a member of the James family (my mother Gladys was Roy's elder sister) I had many many opportunities to meet and talk with Jean. She was a gentle woman who always radiated a sense of calm amidst all the whirling energy and comedic banter that characterized James family get-togethers. She always had a sweet smile on her face and she will be missed by us all. Our thoughts and prayers are with Roy at this sad time.
