After a full, glorious life, peacefully on Sunday, June 17th, 2007 at Sunnybrook Hospital, surrounded by her loving children. Cherished wife of the late Edwin, magnificent mother (and mother-in-law) of Mike (Maria), Greg, Dennis (Sandy), Jonathan, Mary Rose, Bev (Dave), Christine (Tom), Robin (Claire) and Jackie (Steven). Proud and fond Grandma of Adriana, Bernard, Christopher, Kieran, Daniel, Sinead, Trevor, Luke and Mitchell. Selfless sister to Ovid, Irving, Enid, Doreen, Baldwin and Gloria. Friend and surrogate Mom to countless others. Highly regarded, lifelong educator, mentor and role model. An endless source of Guyanese and international delicacies, bountiful love, and precious pearls of wisdom. Maisie's family will receive relatives and friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19th, 2007.
