Obituary of Bradley Richardson
Bradley Wood Richardson - namesake of Harold Bradley of #1 Squadron, Royal Flying Corps who disappeared in France June 1918 - Brad was the son of Leonard A Richardson and Elizabeth (nee Wood) born Dec 23, 1924, survived by his wife of 60 years Mary (nee Campbell) and five children. Campbell (Debbie Crossman), Elinor, Stephen, Louise (Doug Wilkins) and Jason (Emily Rogers) remembered by five grandchildren - Harry, Savannah, Christina, Maxwell, Kieran and his sister Elizabeth Whealy. Brad was born in London, Ontario and grew up in London, Oshawa, Toronto and Deer Island NB. He was educated in public schools, Upper Canada College and McGill University. In 1944/45 he trained in the RCAF and the RN Fleet Air Arm. After the war he enjoyed a number of careers in the; Fishing Industry, Auto Parts Mfg and Electrical Equipment Mfg (his business Powertronic). Brad will be remembered for his enjoyment of his family, flying airplanes, rebuilding of and touring in automobiles, model building, travelling and finally wine, women and stories. There will be a private family service. A celebration of his life will be held at the B&R on Friday Dec 2 between 4 and 6pm, annecdotes will be welcome!
