Everyone at the Stirling Theatre was so saddened to hear of Barbara's passing. She brought so much joy to theatre patrons here, and her productions were always eagerly anticipated for their professionalism and exceptional entertainment standards. I enjoyed many fascinating conversations with Barbara about the "lost arts" of timing, pacing and high production values, and I celebrate the joy she always shared in her passion for the theatre. Our condolences to Barbara's family, to Tom and other loved ones. Caroline Smith, Artistic Director Stirling Festival Theatre

Deepest sympathies go to Mr. Martin and family in the passing of a dedicated, loving supervisor/manager. She was a role model to me and to many of my Air Canada colleages. I have looked up to Barbara as my mentor since I transferred to the airport in 1970. She was truly a beautiful person, and I will always remember her as I try to live by her example.

We first met Barb in November 1966 when she conducted one of her first training classes - after she left the In Flight Service group. In 1970 we again found ourselves under her guiding hand when we transferred to the airport. She was a mentor to both Higgins girls and largley responsible for Irene moving into AC management. Barb was unique - she was a "pistol". Our heartfelt condolences. Irene & Moira

With sympathy to Barbara's family on her passing. She was a role model to many Air Canada sales agents in the 70's and 80's. I know she will be missed by many in other departments as well.
