Jimmy, it's been a long time since we went to the Danforth to light a candle, eat some souvlaki and have a laugh! You were one in a million!!! As my neighbor for many years in Davisville Village, you are greatly missed. We were more to each other than just neighbors, we were family! I was proud to call you my uncle jimmy and loved that called me Koukla and told people I was your niece.I miss you and your stories... it's not the same without you! Can't believe how much time has passed! xoxo

I've know Jimmy for many years. I loved when he came to Chris Lang's office and we would have great chats about life. His sports photography was tremendous and he took many photos of my family. We have many of his pics at home. Hockey will miss Jimmy as will I.

So many laughs and good memories.....they are tucked away in the family memory bank, and brought out during our gatherings,as we remember those wonderful days when Jimmy Lipa, the photographer and friend, attended the many gatherings, and made the laughter so hearty. The days of The Canada Cup are precious reminders of his work!Thank you Jimmy. The Ruse family sends condolences.

Hello, I had met Jimmy many times, mostly at hockey arenas, when he was taking photos of Team Canada and the Canada Cup Events.(1970's and 1980's) A super nice guy, always taking the time to talk. He loved photography, and cared very much about the people he photographed. He will be missed by many. Thanks Jimmy for taking many great photographs. Paul Madder Photographer
