Dear Warren and family, We shared many good times with Betty over the years. Her joie de vivre, intelligence, compassion and genuine love of people and life was and will always be an inspiration to us. She leaves us with many special memories. We were blessed to have known her and will miss her dearly. Love Mimi and Frank.

Liz, Steve and Warren. I was very sorry to see of Betty's passing in the Globe. I obviously haven't seen her in many years but her name came up just recently at a dinner party. Someone asked one of the guests whether she would like another glass of wine and I told them of the wise lady who told me many years ago, at the cottage on Lake Simcoe, "Stephen, a gentleman never asks a lady whether she'd like another glass of wine, just whether she'd like a glass of wine, and yes, I would." As I recall it, we soon ended up with 2 bottles of wine on the table, one for those having a glass, and one for those having another. She was a gracious hostess, a lot of fun and a lovely lady. Regards to all and best wishes in these unfortunate circumstances. Liz, did that hair ever grow back? Steve
