Obituary of Alan Lee Donaldson

Born 25 April, 1917, passed away peacefully on the evening of 2 May, 2007 at Sunnybrook Hospital, Veteran's Wing with his niece Sandra by his side. Alan was predeceased by his beloved wife Ruth (1988) and his brother George B. (1999). He will be greatly missed by Sandra (Vancouver), her husband Peter Kelly and their daughters Lindsay (John Stanley, Peter and Paige) and Ashley (Jason Kennett). Alan is also survived by his nephews Hamish (Dawn, Jessica and Gowan) of Winnipeg and Ian (Tanya, Jim and Nicholas) of West Vancouver.Alan was a lifetime resident of Toronto. The family would like to thank Alan's loyal friend George Knott for his many visits and kindness, Alan's companions Valerie and Angela for their love and care, and the nurses and staff of K1 Centre, quad 1, for their exceptional care of our Uncle Alan. Cremation has taken place, there will be no service by Alan's request.
