To Yaro and the Family of Ilene: I worked with Ilene many years ago and her posted picture is very representative of the lady I remember. One who worked hard, loved to have a good time and expected the same of those around her. It's been some time since I lived in Canada, but have always enquired about her. Dear Yaro, I was very sorry to hear about the passing of Ilene. Even though it has been many years since I have seen Ilene or yourself - the picture of Ilene was great! Her smile,the strength and sparkle in her eyes was very bright - just as I remembered. I have many fond memories of the old Amex days. I am sorry I was not able to attend the service and pay my respects in person. Perhaps one day we could meet for coffee. Please know that you will be my thoughts. There will be good and bad days ahead, don't be afraid to smile and laugh and when things get tough - dig deep for the strength "I" know you have and remember Ilene's smile - she will guide you through.
