Obituary of Gertrude Priest

PRIEST, Gertrude "Trudy", (nee Tommason)Born in Sheffield, England on June 21, 1907, Trudy died peacefully in Toronto, Ontario on Saturday, April 28, 2007. She lived a long and happy life on three continents punctuated by self deprecating humour, feisty determination and a real commitment to the welfare of others. Wife of the late Arthur Edmund Priest (1995). Much loved mother of Margaret Priest and mother-in-law of Tony Scherman. Granny of Leo Scherman (Lara MacInnis), Georgia and Claudia; and great grandmother of Flora Scherman. Aunt of Pat Tommason and Edmund Brooks in England. A service will be held in TIMOTHY EATON MEMORIAL CHURCH, 230 St. Clair Avenue West, Toronto at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 14th.
