Obituary of Adel Gohar Fam
FAM, Dr Adel G. Professor Emeritus, University of Toronto, October 14th, 1936 - April 16th, 2007
After a remarkably strong and valiant fight, at the age of 70 and surrounded by family, lifes journey is over, its destination reached. Safe in the arms of our Lord, your long suffering has come to a blessed and peaceful end. You leave behind your best friend, soul-mate and loving wife, Denise. You will be greatly missed, but always with, your loving sons Neil and wife Hanna and cherished Granddaughter Ella, Paul, Mark and wife Rose. A loving, caring and devoted husband, father and grandfather; you will also be missed by brothers, sisters, extended family and friends. You were an inspiring friend and mentor, not only to those close to you, but to your colleagues and numerous students. You often expressed to us your feelings, as Bach wrote in his Cantata #82, - Ich Habe Genung - I ask for no more. May you rest peacefully now with the Lord.
