Margie is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, David Glue; her devoted children Robyn and David-Allen Glue, Peter Suma and wife Cheryl; sister Lynda Saunders and brother John Saunders and wife Jacqueline Purtzki; sister-in-law Margaret and husband Maynard Bartlett; grandchildren Melissa and Michael Suma; nephew Alex Saunders and niece Annika Saunders; and numerous cousins. Margie was predeceased by her parents Esther and Hubert Saunders and her sister Barbara Saunders.
Margie was born on March 25, 1942 in Cambridge, Ontario. A devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and the best friend you could ever hope for. She was always a shoulder to lean on for anyone who needed her. Theres nothing Margie loved more than being surrounded by her family and friends, while cooking a gourmet meal, enjoying a glass of wine and sharing laughter with everyone. Despite facing significant medical challenges later in life, Margies fun loving spirit, amazing sense of humour, compassion and generosity never wavered. Words cannot aptly describe how much she will be missed by her family, numerous friends and relatives. She had a heart of gold and she was the light of our life. The family would like to extend sincere gratitude and appreciation to the many physicians and nurses for their care and compassion shown to Margie during her illnesses. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (South of Eglington Avenue East) from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, April 20th. A funeral service will take place in BLESSED SACRAMENT CHURCH, 24 Cheritan Avenue (Yonge St. south of Lawrence) at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 21st.
