Frederica Fleming

Obituary of Frederica Joan Fleming

Peacefully at Sunnybrook Hospital. Beloved wife of Everett R. Fleming for almost 45 years. Dear mother of Anne (Michael Piaskoski) and Katie. Much loved Gramma of Roksana, Jacquie and Ava. Cherished sister of Roger Bull (Therese) Bellingham, Washington, John Bull (Fruji) Ottawa and Susan (Dick Spencer) Sydney, Australia. Freddy's life can be best described as a professional volunteer, most notably in Toronto at the Royal Ontario Museum where she served for over 25 years as a docent and in top voluntary administrative posts. In earlier years she travelled internationally with Moral Re Armament (now Initiatives of Change) with special interest in Japan where her father, Fred Bull, served as Canadian Ambassador 1957-1962. She was actively involved for 38 years at the Anglican Church of St. Augustine of Canterbury. Freddy had that special gift of taking an intense interest in whomever she met. To her, everyone was a royal soul. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, April 19th. A funeral service will be held in THE CHURCH OF ST. AUGUSTINE OF CANTERBURY, 1847 Bayview Avenue (at Broadway), Toronto, on Friday, April 20th at 2 p.m. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at www.humphreymiles.com.
