Obituary of Alan Douglas Hall
Peacefully on Tuesday, April 10th, 2007 at Sunnybrook & Women College Hospital, after a short illness. Alan spent 15 years in Brantford where he was Secretary-Treasurer at Universal Cooler Co. and Past President of the Kiwanis Club of Brantford. After retiring from Northern and Central Natural Gas Co. in Toronto, he spent many happy winters in Bradenton, Florida, U.S.A. His interests, besides his family, were shared with his beloved wife of 75 years, Ida, and included lawn bowling, square dancing, and bridge. He will also be fondly remembered by his daughter Carol, his son Bruce and his wife Lynn, and son, Douglas. He will be sadly missed by his 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East) at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 21st with a reception to follow in the Bayview Room.
