Obituary of Alice Pauline Torokvei

Alice passed away peacefully, at her home, on April 4th, 2007. She was 93 years old. Alice was predeceased by her husband Evald and her son Thomas. She is survived by her daughter Peeta, her son Robert, daughters-in-law Cynthia, Nancy and Andrea, her grandchildren Thomas, Kirsten, Caitlin, Nick, Asta and Max, great-grandchildren Jacob and Andrew. She is also survived by her younger sister Laine and nieces Suzanne. Karen, Ester and Christina and her nephew Alberto.The family would like to express their gratitude to Alice�s caregivers Anita and Maria who looked after her around the clock for the past year. We would also like to thank the doctors and nurses at Toronto General Hospital for all their care and compassion. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East) from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 12 at the A.W. Miles Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to Toronto General Hospital, 190 Elizabeth Street, 5th Floor, 5S 801, Toronto, M5G 2C4, would be appreciated.
