Obituary of Noreen Mary Armstrong

Peacefully at home on March 31, 2007 surrounded by her family, in her 76th year. Beloved wife of John (Jack), mother of Megan, Michael, Thomas and Gillian, grandmother of Sarah, Emily, Jack and Patrick. Mother-in-law to Craig, Lori and Alex. Survived by her brother Shane. Noreen passed away after a four-year battle with cancer. She was committed to her many outside pursuits, in particular her work at Christ Church Deer Park, the Richard III Society, and her wide circle of friends. She will be remembered by her family and friends for her generous spirit, dry sense of humour, sense of adventure, love of animals, love of history and her open door hospitality. She will be deeply missed. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 5 in CHRIST CHURCH DEER PARK, 1570 Yonge Street, Toronto.
