Obituary of Bruce Warren Jessiman

Peacefully in his 85th year at Sunnybrook K-Wing on March 28, 2007. Only son of Alfred and Margaret Jessiman. Cherished husband of Corinne (nee Ellery) for almost 58 years. Dearly loved father of Andrew and Deborah (Woolston), proud grampy of Zachary. Brother-in-law Tom and Lily Ellery, Fenelon Falls; Ross and Nora Ellery (deceased), North Bay; and David and Doreen Ellery, Drayton Valley, Alberta. Greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Bruce joined the Canadian Army in 1942 and served with the Signal Corps (Special 1CSWIG�S) in Darwin, Australia. After the war he returned to Manufacturer�s Life Insurance until his retirement in 1983 to enjoy his passion for traveling, golf, bridge and the Victoria Village Civitan Club. Our family wishes to extend its sincere appreciation to the dedicated staff at Sunnybrook K2E for their compassionate care for Bruce over the past years. A service in his memory will be held at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 31st with a reception to follow in the Leaside Room.
