Obituary of John William Sullivan

Passed away in his 96th year on March 23, 2007. Jack will be dearly missed by Joyce, his loving wife of 66 years and by his children, Daryl and Peter Gates, Marilyn and Bob Patterson, John and Diane Sullivan and 7 grandchildren, Kelly, Rob, Mandie, Andrew, Ted, Colleen and Brennan as well as 5 great-grandchildren, Josh, Devin, Jessica, Peyton and Ryan. Jack began teaching in rural Ontario and will be most remembered for his contributions as a principal in many Toronto city schools. He was an active member in the Toronto Camera Club and the Ontario Federation of Naturalists. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, March 30, 2007 in the DONWAY COVENANT UNITED CHURCH, 230 The Donway West, Toronto, followed by a reception. Interment will be in the family plot in Strathroy. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
