James Talbot LeMay

Obituary of James Edward Talbot LeMay

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father on Thursday, March 22, 2007 surrounded by his loving family. The end for our Dad came very peacefully and for this we are grateful. He was the beloved husband of the late Muriel Winsor (1996), our wonderful Mom, for 48 years. Pat and Bev, his daughters, and Dino and Laura loved him very much and will miss him deeply. He was blessed with six loving grandchildren, Bree (Mike), Ryan (Shawn), Bradley, Lauren, Emma and Luke (Chantelle) and four great grandchildren, Morgan, Isabelle, Dylan and Cameron. He was the dear brother of Pat MacNaughton (Martin), who has been a loving, gentle support to our Dad, and pre-deceased by his sisters Florence Cooper (Harold), Phyllis Alderson (Jack), and his brother, Roderick LeMay (Doris). He leaves behind many nieces and nephews. We would like to say a special thanks to his dear friend Maggie. Also, we would like to extend our sincerest, heartfelt thanks to the Dialysis team at Sunnybrook hospital. They have all been wonderful to our Dad. We would also like to thank his companion, Anne Clark, for taking such good care of him. Also, our thanks to the staff at Central Park Lodge for looking after our Dad. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 2-4 and 7-9 on Tuesday, March 27th. A celebration of Jims life will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, March 28th in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow at York Cemetery. If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Renal Unit at Sunnybrook Hospital. Gods speed Dad, we loved you so.
