Obituary of Barbara Leslie Rutherford

With deep and profound sadness we regret to announce the tragic passing of Barbara Leslie Rutherford (Turner), on Sunday March 18, 2007. Sudden and most unexpected, our bedrock and light of our lives, a soul mate to her husband, adoring mother to her two sons, a joyful daughter and loving sister, a friend to all has left us peacefully while walking her devoted dog Billy with her husband on a bright winter�s day last Sunday. Cherished for twenty-four years by her husband Forbes, treasured by her son�s Colin (21) and Derek (19). Dear sister to Bob and endeared by her dad Alan. Predeceased however much loved by her mother Joyce, grandparents Lucille and Brock Parker, Beatrice and Leslie Turner and in-laws Reverend Donald and Marian Rutherford. Adoringly remembered by Colleen, Donna, Alexandre, Mary Anne, Andrew, Joyce, Jim and Jill; and nieces and nephews - David, Carrie, Kate, Laura, Nathan, Liam and Hillary. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, March 23rd.
