Obituary of John David Thomas

BA., B.Ed Queens�s, M.A. Duke, Ph.D YorkMarch 30, 1951 - March 14, 2007John Thomas died peacefully after a long and brave struggle with cancer. He is mourned by his mother and father, Morley and Clara Thomas, his brother Stephen and sister-in-law Mary, nephew Tyler and his extended families Attfield and McDougall Thomas. Also by his host of caring friends from Northern Secondary, Queen�s, York and Acadia Universities, Upper Canada College, and Camp Kandalore. Private cremation has taken place. A memorial service at Upper Canada College will be announced at a later date. John loved all his friends and family and they loved him. If desired, donations can be made to The John Thomas Fund in care of the Upper Canada College Foundation, or the Tammy Tatner Centre for Palliative Care at Mount Sinai Hospital.
