Obituary of Helen Mary Hannah Hymus

After a long and fulfilling life, the family of Helen announces her passing on Sunday, February 25th, 2007, in her 95th year. Helen is survived by her brother Harry and sister Ethel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Albert and Ernest, niece Jane, nephews Bill, Ryan and Rodger. Helen is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Helen and Thelma, and her nieces, Laurel, Sheila, Joanne, Jane. She was loved and cherished, by grandnieces and grandnephews and other relatives and friends. Helen spent her working years at Bell Canada. She was a Life Member at Toronto Ladies Golf Club and a supporter of the The National Ballet of Canada and The Toronto Symphony. Helen had a passion for knowledge, enjoyed photography, and loved to travel. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 12 noon until time of service at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 5th with reception to follow. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
