Karen was a wonderful and beautiful person. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time. I will truly miss her and cherish all the wonderful memories that I have to keep from the last 37 years. Her spirit will always be remembered and never forgotten.

I can still see Karen in her red York Mills cheerleading outfit with her beautiful smile and pretty dark hair. High school can be a funny time in life, Karen lived each day to the fullest and was kind to everyone. We started out at York University together and she drove me the the University on many occasions, we'd sing most of the time to her Elton John and Ki Ki dee tape! The last time I saw Karen we shared some memories of the good old high school days, our York memories and marveled at the passing of time. Old friends hold a special place in your heart. I send my heartfelt sympathy to her husband Jack, family and friends.

We miss her spirit, her sense of humor, and her warmth. Karen lived life to the fullest, and since her illness, has been an inspiration for strength.
