Obituary of John Peter Wadsworth

It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful and sudden passing of the world�s greatest son, husband, father, grandfather and friend. Son of Catherine (Kehoe) Wadsworth and the late Bunny Wadsworth, brother of the late Mary-Jo Schneider and Michael Wadsworth, survived by siblings Frank, Jeffrey and Kate Wadsworth, and many nieces and nephews. Peter will be greatly missed by the �love of his life� his wife Lynda Wadsworth (Ferguson) married for 43 years. Loving and devoted father to Lisa (James Campbell), Deborah (Douglas Moore), Jeffrey (Sophie Desroches) who were his constant pride and joy. Cherished and adored grandfather (Gampi) to Kysa and Liam who filled his life with happiness and laughter. Peter (Wadsy) will be greatly missed by his kind and loving friends who were always a source of constant support. Special thanks to the wonderful staff of nurses and doctors at Toronto General Hospital in the emergency and ICU Units, who provided such wonderful and dedicated care to Peter and his family. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 2-9 p.m. on Friday, January 19th. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in BLESSED TRINITY PARISH, 3200 Bayview Avenue at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 20th with a reception to follow at The Donalda Club, 12 Bushbury Drive.
