Dear David and family, My heart bleeds for your loss, my thoughts and prayers are with you all during this tragic time in your lives. I don't think anyone every gets over a death, especially the death of one's own child, we just learn how to cope with it and get through each day. It is Wednesday Jan. 10. We will see you tomorrow and Friday but it may be hard to say what is in our hearts. We are so sad that we will not again see this wonderful young man, but he will always be with us. So will so many wonderful memories -- having him stay with us at Deerhurst for a hockey tournament in Huntsville to seeing him flash up the ice with such determination and skill to that beautiful smile. Our sons know that James was struck down by something he could not control. It is heartbreaking for us, and we cannot begin to imagine your feelings. But we will be there to try to celebrate the great and enduring spirit of this young man. David and Michelle we are so fond of both of you; we admire you; you are our friends. Please accept our sympathy and support. To you and the rest of the family -- God bless you. We loved him too.
