On Wednesday, December 13th, 2006 at Sunnybrook Hospital, in her 87th year, from complications arising from a fall. Loving wife of the late Arthur C. Neale. Sister of Nancy Prescott of Keeseville, N.Y. Loving mother of John Baldwin Neale (Jane Hess), and the late David Arthur Neale (Avalon). Grandmother of David Neale (Tracey Methven), Stacia Neale, and Sam Neale. Aunt of Diana Zais (Greg) of Boston, Mass., Susan Douglas, Roy Neale, Sally Elgar, Joanne Mills, and the late Roger B. Prescott III. Dear friend of Ann Clements. She had become a great grandmother to Timothy Neale on November 29, 2006.
Diana, elder daughter of David Kilvert Baldwin and Patricia Peck Baldwin, born in Hamilton, ON., on October 2nd, 1920, was educated at King's Hall, Compton, P.Q., made her d�but in 1938 at the St. Andrew's Ball, Montreal, and spent her early married life as the wife of an RCAF officer during World War ll, stationed at Alliford Bay, Queen Charlotte Islands, B.C. She lived most of her life in Montreal, resided briefly in Keeseville, N.Y., and spent the past 28 years in Toronto. To her family and friends, she was loving, loyal, strong in the face of adversity, and very beautiful. The family would like to thank neurosurgeon Dr. Frederick Vincent and the staff of the CRCU at Sunnybrook Hospital.
The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), on Saturday, December 16, 2006 for a service in the chapel at 3:00 p.m. with a reception to follow. If desired, remembrances may be made to the Salvation Army, Territorial Headquarters, 2 Overlea Blvd., Toronto, Ontario M4P 1P4. Flowers gratefully declined.
